Flemming School Applies Trauma-Informed Practices
ESSB schools participated in a province-wide training session with Trauma expert Dave Melnick. The Flemming Elementary (Sept-Iles) team felt the additional call to dive deeper and explore and apply trauma-informed practices in their school. The team committed to additional workshops, team meetings, and an informed shift in trauma response approaches. They were selected by Artifacts to Maximize Improvement (AMI) to video their journey.
